Basaltic prisms

They are located on an inactive volcano also known as Cerro Grande, 3 km from the Botanical Garden cabins or 2.5 km from the Municipality of Zapotitlán Salinas. The "basaltic prisms" are an area that includes at least four kilometers of eroded floor and prismatic formations, whimsical structures that can be observed from what is believed to have been the crater of a marine volcano.
